Summer Programs
Summer Recreational Adult Doubles League
This program is a 15 week doubles ladder beginning on May 11th. Fixed partnerships are not required. Players will be placed initially according to ability and thereafter according to their performance in the league. Yonex nylon shuttles will be used exclusively. Please note that the club will be closed during the first two weeks of July.
Schedule: Wednesdays 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Cost: $75 + gst (includes nylon shuttles)
Monthly Pass-holder Cost: $15 + gst
Afternoon Camps with Associate Coach
July 25th - 29th and August 8th - 12th:
This is an exciting program for junior players age 10 - 16 consisting of three hours of instruction, match play, and fun filled badminton activities with our NCCP qualified Associate Coach. This program is for groups of six players or more. Classes will be tailored to meet the needs of all ability levels, ranging from beginner to competitive. Yonex nylon shuttles will be used.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Cost: $115 + gst
Players are encouraged to bring their own racquets, snacks, and water bottles.
Half Day Summer Camps
With Head Coach Billy Gilliland
August 15th - 19th:
This camp will meet the needs of recreational players age 8 - 12 and will consist of basic skills practices and match play in a relaxed non-competitive environment. There is space for sixteen players. Nylon shuttles will be used.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm
Cost: $115 + gst
August 15th - 19th:
This camp will meet the needs of recreational players age 13 - 18 and will consist of basic skills practices and match play in a relaxed non-competitive environment. There is space for sixteen players. Nylon shuttles will be used.
